| Built in 1907 and converted to a theatre in the late 1940’s The Players Theatre has been home to such long run productions as An Evening with Quentin Crisp, Psycho Beach Party and Ruthless starring an 8yr old Brittany Spears, Natalie Portman and Laura Bell Bundy. New productions include Sgouros and Bell’s Phantom of the Opera which opened in April 2010. Other Sgouros and Bell’s productions have included Oscar Wilde’s The Selfish Giant, Treasure Island, Stone Soup, A Christmas Carol and Cinderella. The Players Theatre is also home to the Shortened Attention Span Festival, Andrew Goffman’s The Accidental Pervert, Baby Wants Candy and now entering its 5th year Off-Broadway Percussion People.
